Rukh Art Hub in collaboration with Mriya Gallery are delighted to present a new art show The Ones Born by the Light, – a solo exhibition by Ukrainian artist Diana Ruban featuring the artist’s paintings, ceramics, and linocuts. This event marks Diana’s first showing in NYC and her second collaboration with Rukh Art Hub.

The Ones Born by the Light offers a captivating exploration of the nature of light, showcasing its profound impact on growth, renewal, and transformation. For Ruban the light is more than just an energy source; it is a metaphor for a vital life force that has the power to nurture even the most delicate and vulnerable beings. Through her visual narrative, the artist immerses viewers in a world where light permeates every detail, highlighting the deep connection between nature and its rhythmic cycles. The exhibition unfolds as an ethereal space dominated by translucent blue figures and vibrant flowers, illustrating how the innate attraction to light fuels continuous renewal for both plants and human souls.

“In my paintings, I convey feelings and emotions, drawing inspiration from flowers, nature, beauty, and female strength. My works reflect my vision of the world, which I express by experimenting with shapes and colors. To create compelling compositions, it's essential to delve deep into my emotions, detail them, and explore impressions from external influences. Sometimes, I feel like everything in the world has already been invented, and I'm simply playing with colors and forms,” says Diana Ruban.
