First Breath of Life - Yana Liashenko

This exhibition by Yana Liashenko, a photographer specializing in documentary birth and newborn photography, explores the moment a woman becomes a mother. Her photographs preserve the first moments of life and the first encounters between parents and their child. Through intimacy, touch and spontaneous emotion, Liashenko reveals the deeply personal experience of birth and the formation of a new bond.
