Latvian-born, New York-based artist, curator, and Co-Founder of Tukku Magi Project (www.tukkumagi.org) Janis Jakobsons’ work has been exhibited worldwide, including at the Design Museum in Ghent, Belgium; Design Museum Helsinki, Finland; Stadelijk Museum, Hertogenbosch, Netherlands; Lalunis Juveieri Museum, Athens, Greece; Kunstlerhaus, Vienna, Austria; Tartu Museum, Tallinn, Estonia; Portland Museum of Art, Portland, OR; Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, Riga, Latvia; and the Latvian National Museum of Art, Riga, Latvia. His work is also featured in private galleries in New York, San Francisco, Brussels, Munich, Stockholm, and Tokyo.
